Humerous Wednesday

I sometimes just need to laugh at my life….. there is always something going on in my wild kingdom of a house! If it is not a kid it is the animals! I am lucky enough to be able to go home for my hour lunch break…. so today I knew I needed to feed Pat Benatar the Guinea pig… well of course Pat was on the loose again… I spent about 10 minutes half under my daughters bed trying to get her to come out…. this is pretty much an everyday occurrence and believe me my patience runs thin sometimes…  Today I just sat and laughed and said, so there is an over weight guinea pig under the bed, there could be far worse things.  I am lucky enough to have all that I do in my life and this pig has made my youngest daughter extremely happy.  Now Pat, gets out ALL the time and this past weekend, Pat had a nice run of biting through some wires..  My youngest started collecting little villages that are for Christmas time and Pat got a hold of a wire and to say the least it will not be used again next year…  Also, her fan that she uses every night got a little nibble on it to.  This is probably the worse one as since Sunday I have had my youngest in bed with me as she needs a fan.  So tonight on our Target run I finally bought some electrical tape so we can fix this problem and I can be in bed alone!!   As all these little funny things occur I realize we always have a choice as how we are going to deal and see them.  I choose laughter and find myself saying yes to another guinea pig as you really are suppose to have two.  Yes, I am serious, they are creatures that bond and so Pat is lonely and needs a friend….  We just got in the mail yesterday a huge new cage for our new little pig and Pat to live happily ever after in.  No we haven’t found our new fury forever yet, but believe me I know it will be sooner than later.  I hope everyone takes a moment when they wonder why these little problems happen or something doesn’t go as planned.  I believe they are meant for us to stop, reflect and be happy for what truly matters in our life.  Laughter is always the best medicine and truly all these little problems make for great memories in the future……
